Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for efficiently removing volatile components from a polymerization reactional product without deterioration or degradation such as coloring.

CONSTITUTION: This method for purifying a polymerization reactional product is to heat (A) a polymerization reactional product containing at least one or more solvents selected from methanol and acetone at 120-270°C and then release (B) the resultant polymerization reactional product into a tank kept under 0.3-1.9atm, separate and remove volatile components, feed the obtained polymerization reactional product to (C) a vent-type extruder set at 160-280°C temperature under 1-400Torr pressure of a vent part, extrude the polymerization reactional product and regulate the residual volatile content of the resultant polymer composition to ≤1wt.% in the method for purifying the polymerization reactional product containing the volatile components comprising a monomer, the solvents and/or by-products by separating and removing the volatile components from the polymerization reactional product.
