Abstract:
To provide a method of repairing an old coating film comprising the steps of applying a paint composition having excellent stain resistance, weathering properties, warm water resistance with respect to appearance and adhesiveness and freeze damage to the old film and drying-hardening the applied film to form a repair coating film.
The method comprises the steps of removing contaminants on an old coating film, applying a coating composition containing a silica sol compound organopolysiloxane having an epoxy group as a binder to the old film and drying-hardening the applied film.
