Abstract:

To provide methods for producing trifluoromethyl ketone and pentafluoroethyl ketone in economical, safe and industrial manners.SOLUTION: An ester compound represented by the general formula (1) is supplied and mixed with a base and trifluoromethane or pentafluoroethane in the presence of organic solvent by using a micro mixer and a micro reactor, and the reaction of them results in a trifluoromethyl ketone or pentafluoroethyl ketone represented by the general formula (3).
