Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a highly functional molded product, consisting of a main constituent component containing phenyl groups having sulfonic acid groups added thereto and capable of providing low-cost films having excellent ion exchange properties, etc., and strength fit for practical use with good dyeability.
CONSTITUTION: A molded product of a polyarylene resin, consisting essentially of a structure expressed by the formula (m is 0W3; x is 1W2) and containing ≥0.1mol.%, particularly ≥4mol.% phenyl groups having sulfonic acid groups added thereto. This molded product has preferably ≥2.4×104cm2/g, especially ≥10×104cm2/g specific surface area.
