Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the curing of a section being in contact with a fiber reinforced core material, improve the sealing properties of the core material with a fiber reinforced synthetic resin layer and improve productivity by heating metal and materials other than the metal by internal heating.

CONSTITUTION: A first mold 4 maintained at comparative low temperature and a second mold 8 maintained at comparatively high temperature are disposed in the molding direction. As a core material 1, a plurality of tubular mandrels 2 filled with thermosetting resin 3 cured at comparatively low temperature are disposed with interval in the molding direction. First, the core material 1 is transferred into the first mold 4 and heated therein, and then reinforced fiber 6 impregnated with thermosetting resin is guided to the outer periphery of the core material and transferred to the second mold 8 and heat cured therein. A composite body thus manufactured is cut at the points where the mandrels of the core material 1 are not interposed, and the mandrels are released out of the core material 1.
