Abstract:
To detect drift of molten steel in a mold and to control a molten steel flow control means so as to more properly relax the drift.SOLUTION: Provided is a molten steel flow control device which includes a molten steel flow pattern recognition part for recognizing a molten steel flow pattern in a mold based on data including a temperature value measured by a temperature measurement device arranged in the mold of a continuous casting system, and a molten steel flow control part for making a molten steel flow control means execute any of a plurality of actions based on action values respectively set for the plurality of actions executable by the molten steel flow control means according to the recognized molten steel flow pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
