Abstract:
To reduce noise by carrying out sensor-less sine wave driving in the case of high-speed rotation of the motor.
This motor drive unit is composed of: a motor 7 which converts DC power of a DC power source 2 to AC power by an invertor circuit 3 and drives a rotating drum 5 or an agitating blade 6; a position detection means 70 for detecting the position of rotor magnetic pole of the motor 7; a current detection means 71 for detecting motor current; and a control means 9 to carry out rotation control with an output signal of the position detection means 70 at low speed and to carry out the rotation control with an output signal of the current detection means 71 at high speed.
