Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the quantity of inflow air to a radiator at a stop of a motor fan by a low-cost method.
SOLUTION: When the supply of power 3 to a motor 1 is stopped, the terminals 1a and 1b of the motor 1 are short-circuited. When a fan is rotated by the vehicle velocity air at running and the motor 1 rotates, two components of counter electromotive force induced in the terminals 1a and 1b of the motor 1 are short-circuited, and a short-circuit current flows in the motor 1. Hereby, braking force is produced in the motor 1, and the rotation of the motor 1 is suppressed, so that the ventilation resistance to a radiator and a capacitor increases, and the increase in the quantity of air flowing into the radiator and the capacitor is controlled.
