Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize economical video conference service in multiple places by arranging video conference connecting trunks in a picture exchange network. CONSTITUTION:A video conference connecting trunk 100, which provides a picture/voice separating part 114 to exract only voice information from a broad band circuit 101, a picture/voice separating part 107 to separate a voice information 111 from a broad line 102 from the picture information 112, a voice adding part 109 to add and synthesize the two pieces of the information at the same phase, namely the voice of a chairman and the voice of an attentant who is currently speaking, and a picture/voice multiplexing part 110 to time-divide and multiplex added voice information 113 and the picture information 112 of the speaker, is provided. Further, broad band information obtained by multiplexing the three pieces of information of the voice of the chairman, the remark of the general attendant, and the picture of the general attendant is prepared, and the multiplexed broad band information is supplied to the all general attendants except the speaker himself by the control of the picture exchange network. Thus, the economical picture conference service linking the multiple places can be obtained.
