Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation detection device that achieves reduction of the influence of ambient light.SOLUTION: An operation detection device comprises: an infrared LED 12 that emits infrared light; an infrared sensor 14 that detects light reflected by a hand that has been emitted from the infrared LED 12; and a background part 24 that is located on a predetermined detection area for detecting the reflected light and reflects infrared light with reflectance lower than the reflectance of the outside of detection area or absorbs infrared light with absorptance higher than the absorptance of the outside of the detection area. The background part 24 reduces the reflection of infrared light, which causes reduction in the incidence of ambient light entering the infrared sensor 14.
