PURPOSE: To eliminate a wear between a mounting and demounting button and an engagement projection, and prevent the occurrence of a loose coupling state between a body and an outer cutter frame.

CONSTITUTION: The outer cutter frame mounting and demounting structure of an electric razor comprises a mounting and demounting button 2 fitted to a body and energized by a spring in a direction for reciprocating an inner cutter, an engagement projection 4 fitted to an outer cutter frame having an outer cutter and used for coupling the outer cutter frame to the body via engagement with the button 2, and a pushbutton 5 fitted to the outer frame and used for releasing engagement between the button 2 and the projection 4 by pressing the button 2. In this structure, the projection 4 and the button 2 have contact faces 22 and 40 vertical to the reciprocating direction of the inner cutter, and in contact with each other.
