Abstract:

To provide an oxygen scavenger composition for absorbing steam and stably and rapidly absorbing oxygen in order to absorb and remove oxygen and steam in a hermetically closed container.

The oxygen scavenger composition for absorbing steam is prepared by mixing a liquid, which is mixed with an aliphatic compound having an unsaturated group and a transition metal compound, with at least one kind of a solid selected from calcium oxide, calcium chloride and magnesium chloride.
