Abstract:
To provide paper which has desiredly possessing properties such as tensile strength, skid-proof capacity, and air permeability needed for paper such as kraft paper, and a coating composition for paper which can be desiredly used to manufacture such paper.SOLUTION: Paper has a coating film layer on one or both surface of base paper, wherein the coating film layer contains a fine cellulose fiber having a lignin content of 10% or more, and a mass of the fine cellulose to a mass of the base paper is 0.1-10.0%. Also, a coating composition contains a fine cellulose fiber with a lignin content of 10% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
