Title:
PD-1, RECEPTOR OF B7-4 AND USE OF THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014040419
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method to modulate immune response.

PD-1 polypeptide is identified as a receptor to B7-4. B7-4 can inhibit the activation of an immunocyte when it is bound to an inhibitory receptor on the immunocyte. Therefore, modulation of immune response is induced by modulating costimulatory or inhibitory signal in the immunocyte by providing an agent which modulates PD-1, B7-4 and interaction between B7-4 and PD-1.
