Abstract:

To provide a novel glutamate receptor antagonist.

The present invention retates to the use of a compound represented by formula (I) [wherein R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 each independently represent hydrogen, a lower alkyl, a -(CH2)n-halogen, a lower alkoxy, a -(CH2)n-NRR', a -(CH2)n-N(R)-C(O)-lower alkyl, an aryl or a heteroaryl which is not substituted or substituted with one or more lower alkyl residues, and A represents -CH=CH- or -CC-] or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof for producing a pharmaceutical agent for treatment or prevention of mGluR5 receptor mediated disorders.
