Title:
PHOSPHOR BRONZE WIRE HAVING EXCELLENT BENDING WORKABILITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3893358
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor bronze used for electronic parts, such as a terminal, a connector, and having improved bending workability when press-formed into the terminal.
SOLUTION: In metallurgical structure of the phosphor bronze, white or black uneven streaky structures exist in the cross sectional crystal grain structure created with etching by using water solution containing hydrogen peroxide solution and ammonia, and the difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of Sn concentration in the range containing the streaky structure is set to be 5 - 40% of the Sn concentration in the base material (ΔCSn is 5-40%). Further, in the producing process, a crystal grain diameter (mGS) is made to be 0.5 to ≤ 2μm and this standard deviation (σGS) is made to be ≤ 15μm by applying a finish recrystallization annealing to the cold-rolled rod having ≥ 45% working ratio and successively, the last cold-rolling having 20-70% working ratio, is applied to obtain the high strength phosphor bronze excellent in the bending workability.
