Title:
PHOTOGRAPHIC PROCESSING OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ELEMENT CONTAINING WATER-SOLUBLE HYDROPHILIC POLYMER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002148757
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To minimize bubbles in the processing of a photographic element including an overcoat, one component of which is at least one water-soluble hydrophilic polymer that leaches out in a processing solution.

This invention relates also to a photographic processing method for a photographic image forming element having an overcoat permeable to a processing solution and containing at least one water-dispersible hydrophobic polymer dispersed by a water-soluble hydrophilic polymer. In photographic processing, the surface-active water-soluble hydrophilic polymer leaches out in the photographic processing solution. Bubbling in the photographic processing solution due to the hydrophilic polymer is, however, prevented by the presence of a nonionic surfactant having an HLB(hydrophile-lipophile balance) of <12.
