Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photosensitive planographic printing plate developed by printing excellent in printing resistance, sensitivity and image reproducibility.
SOLUTION: A lipophilic photosensitive layer 1A contg. a compd. having at least one addition polymerizable ethylenic double bond and a photopolymn. initiation system is disposed on a substrate 1 provide with hydrophilic property to obtain the objective photosensitive planographic printing plate developed by printing. The peeling strength of the substrate 1 against a gum tape 3 is ≤500 g/cm. The printing plate is imagewise exposed and fitted to the cylinder of a printer, printing ink is fed and the unexposed part of the photosensitive layer, together with the ink, is transferred to the roll surface of a blanket roll by utilizing the adhesiveness of the ink. The unexposed part is removed from the substrate and a photosensitive image is formed.
