To prepare a silicone titanate resin coating film free from the generation of an irregular coating portion, a bleaching action and a corrosion on a metal surface.
This silicone titanate resin coating film is obtained by adding titanium tetrachloride to a cooled alcohol solution containing sodium percarbonate or barium peroxide to produce a titanic acid alcohol solution, filtering off the precipitates of the unreacted sodium percarbonate, sodium carbonate, sodium chloride, and titanium dioxide, mixing the filtrate with a silicone resin or a silicone oil and a fluororesin to product the mixture alcohol solution, and then spraying or coating the alcohol solution on an adherend under the irradiation of fluorescent lamps, thereby immediately evaporating the alcohol to form a pink or transparent silicone titanate resin coating film. When the silicone titanate resin coating material is coated on the surface of an adherend such as a freezer, the electric equipment of a freezer car, or one of other adherends, the coating film having frost resistance, antibacterial property and peelability is obtained. When the silicone titanate resin coating material is coated on a plastic container or a plastic film bag, the coating film having an antibacterial property can be obtained.
