Abstract:
To provide a polymeric planographic printing plate having improved humidity dependency.
The polymeric planographic printing plate has a polymeric photosensitive layer on a hydrophilic support and further has a protective layer thereon, wherein the protective layer comprises, for example, a polyvinyl alcohol and a polyvinylcaprolactam homopolymer, a copolymer comprising a polyvinyl alcohol and vinylcaprolactam, or a copolymer comprising vinyl acetate and vinylcaprolactam.
