Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-convenient portable information terminal.SOLUTION: A portable information terminal 4 comprises a GPS receiver 4611 which receives a satellite signal, an atmospheric pressure sensor 462 which detects atmospheric pressure, and a control unit 468 which calculates a gradient per location in a measurement section on the basis of satellite signal information from a GPS receiving unit 461 and atmospheric pressure information based on the detection results of the atmospheric pressure sensor 462. The control unit further generates temperature information based on the detection results of a temperature sensor 463 per location in the measurement section.
