Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically release a malfunction preventing mode without key operation and to delay the release of the malfunction preventing mode in a short period until putting a hand into a hand bag, a bag, etc., to take out the equipment.
SOLUTION: Touch sensors 2a to 2b are provided dispersedly at a prescribed part of the portable telephone equipment to detect touch to a human body to output detection signals 2a to 12b. When the frequency of the operation of a touch sensor outputting the detection signal reaches a prescribed value, a touch sensor output judging means 3 judges that the telephone equipment is gasped by the hand and outputs a releasing request signal of a malfunction preventing mode 13. A timer 4 is started by receiving the releasing request signal of a malfunction preventing mode 13 and when counting a prescribed time, the timer 4 outputs a timer output signal for requiring the release of the malfunction preventing mode 14 to a malfunction preventing mode setting means 1. The malfunction preventing mode setting means 1 receives the timer output signal for requiring the release of the malfunction preventing mode and releases the setting of the malfunction preventing mode.
