Abstract:
To provide a printing apparatus in which positional deviation of a recording medium is prevented when a dividing unit divides the recording medium, and which is downsized.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus (1) comprises: conveying roller pairs (50, 51 and 52) which convey a sheet of paper (P); a dividing unit (10) which is arranged in a downstream side in a first conveying direction (D1), of the conveying roller pairs (50, 51 and 52), and which divides the sheet of paper (P) into a plurality of sheets of paper; and a control unit (100). The control unit (100) applies division processing (S9) to the sheet of paper (P) while at least two of the conveying rollers (50, 51 and 52) hold a portion in an upstream side of a center position in the first conveying direction (D1), of the sheet of paper (P).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
