Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rotation accuracy of a photoreceptor drum by making the protruding part of a main body enter the recessed part of a cartridge when a process cartridge is attached to the device main body.
SOLUTION: A coupling protruding shaft 17 (columnar shape) is provided on a drum flange fixed to one end part of the photoreceptor drum 7, and the protruding part 17a is formed on the leading end face of the shaft 17. Besides, the end face of the part 17a is in parallel with the end face of the shaft 17. The shaft 17 fits in a bearing, and functions as a drum rotary shaft. The flange, the shaft 17 and the part 17a are integrally provided, and a helical gear 16a is integrally provided on the flange in order to transmit driving force to a developing roller inside the process cartridge. When the part 17a fits in the recessed part 18a provided on the device main body, and the rotary force of the part 18a is transmitted to the part 17a; shaft centers are aligned with each other because the respective apexes of a nearly regular triangular part 17a equally abut on the inside surface of the part 18a.
