Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obviate the deviation and movement of plastic spacers by the static electricity and the air flow at the time of sticking and to improve a display grade by humidifying a substrate to be sprayed with the plastic spacers, then spraying the plastic spacers thereto. CONSTITUTION:The steam generated by ultrasonic oscillation, etc., is guided onto the electrode substrate just prior to the spraying of the plastic spacers which are plastic beads. The spraying of the plastic beads is executed after the electrode substrate is humidified. Furthermore, the steam generated by the ultrasonic oscillation, etc., is guided onto another electrode substrate just before this substrate is stuck to the above-mentioned electrode substrate. These substrates are then stuck to each other after the above-mentioned substrate is humidified. The deviation and movement of the plastic beads by the static electricity and the air flow at the time of the sticking are thereby obviated and the grade in appearance as the display element is improved.
