This method for producing a spun wool raw material woolen yarns comprises sequentially passing raw wool through the first to third flat cards, simultaneously carrying out (1) a work for opening the raw wool and removing dusts by the use of a mote knife 41 under taker-in rollers 13, 21, 31, and (2) a work for opening the raw wool and removing the dusts by a dust- removing means and a work for sucking off the removed dust by a suction means, at least on the first flat card 1, and carrying out the work (1) for opening the raw wool and removing dusts by a mote knife 41 under taker-in rollers 13, 21, 31, on the second flat card 2.
