Abstract:

PURPOSE:To obtain the title powder free of a residual long-chain monomer by adding urea to a mixture of a long-chain monomer with a sustained-release substance and subjecting the resulting mixture to a specified treatment. CONSTITUTION:Urea is added to a mixture of a long-chain monomer (e.g. hexanediol monoacrylate) with a sustained release substance (e.g. perfume, insect repellent, rust preventive, antifungal agent, antibacterial or bactericidal agent), and the resulting mixture is irradiated with a radiation (e.g. gamma rays).
