To provide a protector cap of light weight, less oppressive feeling, low cost, and easiness for protecting a snow boarder from tumbling accidents in playing snow board.

A protector plate 2 comprising a single-layer or multiple-layer plates for diffusion and uniform absorption of shock from the external is provided at a back part of a cap 1 to face a front part of the cap 1 to cover it along a back head part of it. The cap 1 is worn in such a way that the protector plate 2 covers the back head part in going downhill on a snow board. A head part is held by the front part of the cap 1 and the protector plate 2 on the front side and the back side, and the front part of the cap 1 and the protector plate 2 are pulled to each other by shrinking force of a band 3 connecting them to each other, so the protector plate 2 is stably mounted at a specified position. A snow boarder can thus be protected from tumbling accidents by use of this protector cap of light weight, less oppressive feeling, low cost, and easiness.
