Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for payment for a communication charge by a subscriber when the radio telephone system represented by a digital system cellular telephone system and the PHS(Personal Handy Phone System) is used by other party.
SOLUTION: The portable radio telephone system 1a is provided with a card insert port 3 to which an IC card 2 is inserted, a card processing section 4 having a function reading/writing information described on the inserted IC card, and a call control section 5 adding automatically a charge imposing party class and an IC card number to a caller sub address in a setup message (in compliance of the RCR STD-27 and RCR STD-28 standards), and an enterprise receiving a setup message conducts charging processing based on the charge imposing party class and the IC card number. The enterprise decides the charging destination by sharing the charge imposing destination of communication from the same radio telephone system, then the subscriber of the radio telephone system does not require to pay the speech charge caused when the other party uses the telephone set.
