To improve water draining on wires in a paper making process and to prevent staining of felt and the like and to enhance cuttability at the time of cutting and to improve a cutting section by incorporating pulp and polyaluminum hydroxyl-chloride and a modified starch.
The support of the recording material is composed essentially of the pulp and as additives the polyaluminum hydroxychloride represented by the formula; Al2(OH)5Cl.2.5H2O in an amount of, preferably, 0.1-1.0 weight % of the pulp, and the modified starch. The addition of this Al compound in this amount is preferable, permitting water separability and sheet strength to be enhanced and to prevent staining of the felt, and only small addition of it permits high effect to be attained, the paper strength reinforcer to be enhanced in yield and reduced in its addition amount ant the manufacturing cost of the raw paper to be lowered. The pulp material to be widely used is natural pulp and synthetic pulp and a mixture of them in an optional proportion.
