To provide a reactor core and a reactor which readily ensures a desired magnetic path length (and inductance) even if product tolerance or the like is provided in a core material, a gap board or the like.
A core unit 8 is formed by linking first magnetic cores 2 via one or more air gaps 3 or gap boards 4. The two core units 8, 8 are faced each other. A reactor core 10 which is substantially annular in plan view is formed by disposing second magnetic cores 1, 1 opposite to each other at a prescribed clearance between end parts of the core units 8, 8. A fixing member (a rod member 5) which holds and fixes the positioning state of the first magnetic cores 2 constituting the core unit 8 and the positioning state of the two magnetic cores 1, 1 is provided. The rod member 5 passes through a through hole 21, and is fit to a hole 11a of an edge face of the core 1.
