PURPOSE: To enable the working staffs of a restaurant to know the load situation of the kitchen and the menu-based cooking waiting time by calculating the present menu-based cooking waiting time and the means cooking waiting time and responding to an electronic register or a portable radio equipment.
CONSTITUTION: A kitchen terminal 4 calculates the cooking waiting time or the mean cooking waiting time of an entire kitchen, i.e., the cooking time based on the order receiving time and the cooking end time of each menu. Then the terminal 4 sends the result of calculation back to an electronic register 1 and a portable radio terminal equipment 2. Thus the working staffs can know the cooking waiting time and the congestion state of the kitchen even at the places near the guest seats and therefore can inform the guests of each cooking waiting time, etc. Thus the service properties is extremely improved to the guests.
