To provide a general purpose method of restoring short circuit between a first electrode and a second electrode of a polychromatic organic light emission display element.
The restoration method of the short circuit part of electrodes of a polychromatic organic light emission display element comprises (1) a process of providing a polychromatic organic light emission display element having a color conversion filter and (2) a process in which the short circuit part of the electrodes of the element is detected and this short circuit part is removed by irradiating laser on it, and the irradiation of laser is performed from the side where the color conversion filter does not exist. This restoration method of the short circuit part is performed in an environment of moisture of a certain threshold or less such as in vacuum or dry nitrogen atmosphere. Furthermore, the restoration device that can be used for the short circuit part restoration is provided.
