Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-stitched printed matter with identification information of production log information, etc.SOLUTION: Saddle-stitched printed matter 1 with identification information where the identification information is attached to the saddle-stitched printed matter is produced by using wire 11 with the identification information in which the identification information is printed in the wire for use in saddle stitching book binding. An identification information printer 41 is provided between a wire feeding unit 11 and a stitch part 24 of a saddle stitching machine 21. When the wire 3 sent from a wire feeding unit 31 passes a feeding member 43 having a print window 44, the identification information such as a production log is printed by a laser marker 42. The wire 11 with the identification information where the identification information is printed is cut by a predetermined length in the stitch part 24, and the collated printed matter 25 is saddle-stitched.
