Abstract:
Provided is a pair of scissors with the function of a cutter, wherein the scissors can also be used as a cutter while being prevented from going against the will of a user to turn into the gesture of the cutter. The scissors with the function of the cutter comprises a first blade and a second blade, wherein the first blade and the second blade are provided with edges and are opened and closed to cut a to-be-cut object positioned between the two edges of the two blades. The scissors comprises a mode switching mechanism capable of switching the scissors into any one mode as followings: a scissors mode for opening and closing the two blades from the edges thereof wherein the edge lines are turned from the non-protruding closed state to the opened state; and a cutter mode for allowing the tip part of the edge of the first blade from being exposed towards the back part of the edge of the second blade.
