Abstract:
To provide scissors configured to be capable of securely holding an object to be cut such as stems and branches at any position along the length of the blade.SOLUTION: In scissors 1 that have a pair of scissors bodies 2 with a grip portion 2a and a blade portion 2b that are piled up and pivotally fitted so as to form an X shape in plan view and that are configured to be opened and closed so that the blade portions 2b form an acute angle by operating the grip portions 2a, a spring holder 4 extending in the direction of the blade portions 2b is attached to the upper surface of the grip portion 2a of the scissors body 2 positioned downward in plan view, a plate 6 with which the object to be cut abuts is attached along the length direction of the cutting edge to the upper surface of the blade portion 2b of the scissors body 2 positioned above, a free end of one bent piece 7a of a leaf spring 7 formed by bending an inverted U shape in plan view is fixed to the spring holder 4, and the free end of the other bent piece 7b of the leaf spring 7 is configured to be pressed against the plate 6 when the blade portions 2b are open and to be elastically pressed against substantially the entire length of the plate 6 when the blade portions 2b are closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
