To provide a sealing device 1 for draining muddy water or the like which has entered therein, by using a labyrinth seal 8 for positively making a flow for draining the muddy water out of the labyrinth seal 8 which is disposed between a slinger 2 and a seal member 3 and thereby to increase sealability.

The sealing device 1 is constituted of the slinger 2 and the seal member 3. The slinger 2 integrally has a cylindrical mounting part 2a and an annular plain face part 2b, and the seal member 3 integrally has a cylindrical mounting part 3a and seal lips 6, 7. The labyrinth seal 8 is disposed between a radial tip part 2c of the plain face part 2b of the slinger 2, and the mounting part 3a of the seal member 3 facing the radial tip part 2c. An annular tapered part 11 or a screw is formed to the labyrinth seal 8 for draining the muddy water by using turning force.
