Abstract:
A sitting-type high-knee support device (10) is provided with: a seat plate part (14A) for supporting the buttocks of a user from below; and thigh pads (16) for supporting thigh parts of the user from below, the user being seated on the seat plate part (14A). The sitting-type high-knee support device (10) is also provided with artificial muscles (20) that are operated, whereby the thigh pads (16) are caused to move. By operation of the artificial muscles (20), the thigh pads (16) are caused to move, and the thigh parts of the user seated on the seat plate part (14A) are displaced upward with respect to the buttocks. Hip joint mobility is thereby assisted.
