Title:
SENSOR FOR IN URINE SUGAR MEASURING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3178429
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor which eliminates the inconvenience in handling, is enhanced in strength of a detecting part and improved in durability.
SOLUTION: A sensor element 10 having a glucose-detecting film and a porous film sheet 30 arranged to a front face of the element are accommodated in a cartridge 20 comprising a main body part 20a and a lid part 20b. The lid part 20b has an opening part. The porous film sheet 30 is arranged to be exposed to the opening part. The porous film sheet 30 is formed in a structure of three layers of a porous film, a hydrophobic polymer and a hydrophilic polymer and functions to remove interfering substances such as protein, urea or the like in urine and also as a reinforcing member for the glucose-detecting film. The sensor for use in a urinoglucosometer is thus improved in durability.
