Title:
SHEET FOR ON-LAND CIVIL ENGINEERING WITH IMPROVED PENETRATION RESISTANCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3829978
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for on-land civil engineering having enough durability in an application to be contacted with crushed stones in civil engineering works on the ground while the lowering of the original properties of a fiber sheet is minimized.
SOLUTION: The sheet for on-land civil engineering is composed of the water-permeable fiber sheet and a discontinuous protective layer which is arranged at least on one side or in the inner layer of the sheet and made of a resin for improving penetration resistance and/or a metal. The protective sheet is formed in a range of 10-95% of the area of the sheet and has water permeability of at least 10-3 cm/sec. The maximum width W of the fiber part between the adjacent protective layers preferably meets W<2×T×tan (θ/2) (T is the thickness of the fiber sheet; θ is the average apex angle of contacting objects such as crushed stones contacting the sheet for on-land civil engineering).
