To provide a signal processor for analog input by which the spectrum of a high frequency lost by a digital signal processing circuit is restored to the utmost, so as to obtain a characteristic approximating that of the frequency characteristic of the input signal.
This digital signal processor for an analog input is configured with the provision for a digital signal processing circuit 1 receiving an input signal and consisting of a low-pass filter 4, an A/D converter circuit 6, a signal processing circuit 7 and a D/A converter circuit 9, and a high frequency processing circuit 12, consisting of a high pass filter 13 and a delay time adjustment circuit 15 and a mixer circuit 16 which mixed an output signal from the digital signal processing circuit 1 with an output signal from the high frequency processing circuit 2, which are placed in parallel with the digital signal processing circuit 1. In the digital signal processing unit, the analog input signal may be an audio signal or a video signal.
