Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2779731
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance sensitivity and contrast and running characteristics in the photographic sensitive material used for high-illumination short-time exposure by incorporating an iridium compound and chemically sensitizing a silver halide emulsion with a tellurium compound in combination with a specified sensitizing dye stuff.
CONSTITUTION: A silver halide emulsion containing the iridium compound in an amount of ≥10-9 mol is spectral sensitized with the compound represented by formula I or II or the like and chemically sensitized with the tellurium compound. In formulae I and II, each of Z and Z1 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form a 5- or 6-membered N-containing hetero ring, each of R and R1 is alkyl group, substituted alkyl; each of Q and Q1 is a nonmetallic atomic group necessary to form a 4- or 5-thiazolidinone ring, each of L, L1, L2 is methine or optionally substituted methine, X is anion and X1 is an acid anion; each of R1 and R2 is alkyl, R3 is H or lower alkyl, V is H, alkoxy, or the like, and Z1 is anonmetallic atomic group necessary to form a 5- or 6-membered N-containing hetero ring.
