Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slab support surface plate capable of supporting a slab stably without a wedging work therefor, even when the slab has large warp or unevenness.SOLUTION: In a slab support surface plate in a surface cutting device of a slab S, a plurality of support beams 1 for supporting the lower surface of the slab S are arranged at prescribed intervals, and many lifting members 6 for supporting the lower surface of the slab S by being lifted individually by a lifting cylinder 8 are arranged between the support beams 1. The lifting members 6 are lifted up to the height corresponding to the surface shape of the slab S to support the slab S.
