Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a burn or a material from being burnt by covering a heating surface at high temperature immediately after a heating cooking is finished and a material to be heated is removed with a safety cover which can be rapidly be applied without waiting for cooling.
SOLUTION: A small kitchen range having a lamp heater as a heat generator comprises a thermal shield member 17 provided inside a safety cover 16, a thermal reflection coating layer on an inner surface and exhaust slit groups. The thermal shield member 17 is provided with a high inclination in the side of an air exhaust port 15 of the range to guide exhaust air. The exhaust slits located in the high thermal shield member 17 are elongated from an upper surface to a side surface and greatly opened to form the inlet side of air. Thus, the exhaust air is mixed with high temperature air and the mixed air is cooled and exhausted, so that the safety cover can be mounted at high temperature.
