Abstract:
To provide a solid golf ball particularly excellent in repellency, durability, flying characteristic and feeling in impact.
In a solid golf ball formed of a core and a cover formed on the core, the core is obtained from a rubber composite obtained by blending 20-40 parts by weight of methacrylic acid and 20-40 parts by weight of zinc oxide to 100 parts by weight of a base rubber, generating basic zinc methacrylate as main component in the rubber, reacting 0.1-3.0 parts by weight of an organic peroxide and 0.1-3.0 parts by weight of an organic sulfur compound with this composite.
