Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid-state image pickup device for taking a close-up picture, small in size and light weight that can be moved optionally to a close-up object to take a close-up picture.
SOLUTION: The solid-state image pickup device for taking a close-up picture that captures a reflected light from a very small object into the inside and allows an image pickup device to apply photoelectric conversion to the formed image, is provided with a black box 1 that forms a dark space inside and is formed into truncated quadrangular pyramid including an image pickup device 2 in the dark space, a pin hole 6 that is provided on an upper face of the black box formed into truncated quadrangular pyramid, and a light emitting element 4 placed along a side face of the black box of the truncated quadrangular pyramid. Thus, no lens is required and the solid-state image pickup device for taking a close-up picture is provided, which is made small in size and light in weight and takes up a close-up picture while being moved at an optional close-up place.
