Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize an electric wire grasping force by enabling the clamping force of a wire clamp sufficiently transmitted to a wire even if a setting angle θ to the clamp is changed in a split collar 10 for the electric wire clamp including a pair of collar half pieces 12, 12 having grooves 16 in which spiral protrusions of the outer peripheral surface of the wire penetrate into an electric wire grasping surface.
SOLUTION: Through grooves 20 reaching the electric wire grasping surface are formed from the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire at the pair of collar half pieces 12, 12 in a longitudinal direction. Thus, the half pieces 12 can be easily deformed by the clamping force of the clamp.
