Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static hydraulic type continuously variable transmission whose cylinder block is equipped with a annular high pressure oil path and a plurality of valve holes stretching radially as intersecting the oil path, which are produced by a precision processing, and also facilitate cutting chip exhaust from the high pressure oil path.
SOLUTION: A cylinder block B is equipped with a ring-shaped projection Ba bulging between the outer end of a pump cylinder 6 and the outer end 16a of a motor cylinder 16, and the projection Ba is furnished with an annular groove 48 to open at one end in the axial direction and a plurality of blind holes 49 to open at the choked end of the groove 48, and a lid 34 to shut the open area of the groove 48 so that they serve as a high pressure oil path 51 is fitted on the cylinder block B, which is bored with the first and the second valve hole 52, 53 in radial arrangement intersection the high pressure oil path 51. Cutting chip in the oil path 51 is exhausted from he open area of the groove 48 before the lid 34 is set.
