Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a steel sheet for electrogalvanizing excellent in grained flaw resistance and good in surface properties by limiting the content of Ni in the steel and the content of Ni in the surface layer part of the steel sheet and that to a specified depth from the surface layer part.
CONSTITUTION: In a steel sheet for electrogalvanizing, the content of Ni in the steel is limited to, by weight, ≤0.06%. Furthermore, the concn. of Ni in the surface layer part of the steel sheet is limited to ≤10 atomic %, and the concn. of Ni at a position to a depth of 200&angst from the surface of the steel sheet is limited to ≤4 atomic %. Moreover, the content of Ni in the steel is preferably regulated to ≤0.03%. The cold rolled steel sheet having the same compsn. is subjected to soaking box annealing and skinpass rolling and is thereafter applied with electrogalvanizing in a zinc sulfate plating bath. If required, chromatin treatment, organic resin coating treatment or the like are further executed. This producing method is executed inn such a manner that the concn. of Ni in the plating original sheet is controlled, and the surface temp. and heating and extracting temp. at the time of the hot rolling are controlled. The steel preferably satisfies the requirements of ≤0.10% C, ≤0.2% Si, ≤1.8% Mn, ≤0.10% P, 0.005 to 0.10% Al and ≤0.010% N.
