Title:
STRIPPABLE PAINT COMPOSITION FOR SURFACE PROTECTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11310750
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a strippable paint composition for surface protection, which deteriorates little in adhesive force at low temperatures and not easily softens even at high temperatures.

This composition is a strippable paint composition mainly consisting of an acrylic emulsion, wherein the disperse particles which form the acrylic emulsion comprise two acrylic resins having glass transition temperatures T different from each other by at least 20°C. This composition can give a coating film assured in adhesive force at low temperatures and releasability at high temperatures. Because the high-Tg acrylic resin acts as a releasing agent, there is little difference between the releasabilities from substrates with different surface conditions. Further, because the low-Tg acrylic resin lowers MFT, there is an effect of improving film formability at low temperatures.
